Rashonda Clay-Douthit
Therapy should be a place where you can speak openly, feel understood, and work through difficult issues without judgment.
Warm, collaborative, and practical
Rashonda helps clients gain greater clarity, recognize patterns that may no longer serve them, and make meaningful changes in their lives and relationships.
She works with adults across a range of concerns — anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and significant life changes.
Therapy does not have to feel intimidating or overly clinical
It can be a thoughtful, supportive conversation that helps you understand where you are, decide where you would like to go, and begin taking steps to get there.
Particular experience with couples
Rashonda enjoys helping people strengthen their relationships, improve communication, and navigate important relationship decisions and transitions.
That includes the turning points — second marriages, blended families, and the thoughtful work of deciding what comes next.

Mentoring the next generation

Rashonda sees clients in her own practice
Counseling with Rashonda is separate from Orchard Human Services
Rashonda serves as Internship Director for Orchard, overseeing the training and supervision of counseling interns and practicum students. She does not see counseling clients through Orchard.
She maintains her own independent private practice. If you would like to work with her as a client, that relationship is with her practice directly — not with Orchard Human Services, Inc. Orchard’s rates, scholarship program, and intake process do not apply.
We are glad to introduce you. The connection simply belongs to her.
A short conversation is enough to find out whether working together is a good fit. There is no wrong way to start.
