Counseling licensure is state-based, and each clinician accepts payment differently. Please check both notes on a clinician before requesting an appointment with them.

Associate Professional Counselor practicing under clinical supervision. Person-centered work drawing on mindfulness, CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and developmental support, with particular care for LGBTQIA+ individuals and people in non-traditional relationships.

Counseling Interns
GRADUATE COUNSELING INTERNS & PRACTICUM STUDENTS
Available in: Georgia only.
Payment: Significantly reduced fee — and in some circumstances, no cost.
Orchard is a teaching practice. Interns carry their own caseloads under close clinical supervision, which means a second experienced clinician reviews your care alongside the person you meet with each week.
Please ask, rather than assuming the cost puts counseling out of reach.

Rashonda Clay-Douthit, LCSW — Internship Director
Rashonda directs Orchard’s internship and practicum program. She does not see counseling clients through Orchard Human Services. She maintains her own independent private practice, and Orchard’s rates, scholarship program, and intake process do not apply to that work.
If you would like to work with her as a client, that relationship is with her practice directly. We are glad to introduce you — the connection simply belongs to her.

Insurance contracts differ by state and by clinician. Please tell us your state of residence and your insurance provider, and we will confirm your coverage with you.
Sessions with Beth and with counseling interns are not billed to insurance, and both are available in Georgia only.

For Professionals-in-Training
Internship, practicum & supervision
Applications for all three pathways use one form. There is no separate appointment to book first — submit the application and we will follow up to arrange a conversation.
Internship & Practicum
Placement for graduate students in counseling and therapy programs. Interns carry a supervised caseload alongside structured clinical training.
Clinical Supervision
Post-graduate supervision for associate-level counselors, provided by an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS).
