2019 Summer Musical Theater Workshop

Destiny’s Call Full Description Rev’d 5-25-2019

Hold on, Atlanta … Destiny is Calling YOU! Summer Musical Theater is coming your way.

Explore the exciting world of Musical Theater in a hands-on workshop led by dedicated performing artists.

High school students and young adults are invited to explore their inner Thespian. Find out if YOU belong on stage.

The program targets youth-at-risk, in foster care, or involved with the Juvenile Justice System. Through artistic expression, young folks will learn to channel their inner wisdom, feelings, and inspirations. The experience is transformational for everyone involved … from acting teachers and coaches to the students and stage hands.

The workshop will be held at a theater in Marietta, Georgia this summer 2019. The final performance will be open to the public to allow the youth a full theater experience … the final bow, the curtain, and the whole nine yards!

The location of the theater will be disclosed to participants upon registration to make sure everyone pre-registers online at Eventbrite or by phone. The theater has ample parking and is convenient to public transportation.

Destiny’s Call is a musical theater workshop for high school students and young adults around the Metropolitan Atlanta area. The program targets youth-at-risk, young people involved in the foster care or juvenile justice systems, and young people who are searching for themselves.
